NEWCASTLE 'AS IT ONCE WAS'
Please do not order FRAMED works in A1 or A2 if you live outside of NSW Australia (they cannot be delivered safely).
Part of the OLD NEWCASTLE SERIES, Newcastle 'As it Once Was' contains many landmarks from the city's past. Containing landmarks from early 1900's Newcastle, this work shows the dramatic change the city has seen in the last century when compared with more modern works. It also shows the preservation of many buildings from our city's history, such as the Longworth Institute and Scott's Ltd Building, which have called Newcastle home from over 100 years each.
Work contains: (from left to right, top to bottom)
SCOTT'S Ltd BUILDING (once the David Jones Building, now the QT Building),
- The ZAARA STREET POWER STATION (Built in 1915 and decommissioned in 1971, then demolished in 1978),

- The LONGWORTH HOUSE (previously known as Wood's Chambers), (commissioned in 1891),
